Loving my Topshop voucher!

My next purchase with my voucher was a pair of treggings/trousers. I am not normally one for patterened trousers, but I felt these ones were easy to wear. I have had my eye on them for a while and have been unsure whether to get them, but I was with some of my friends and they said I should so I did (I'm pretty easily persuaded).

These trousers are obviously checked and have a velvet feel to them, they fitted extremly well and I felt they held my stomach in.I couldnt actually find these trousers online but I have found some similar ones here.

 

I actually wore these trousers for a night out and teamed them with the Topshop crop top which was only £8, it couldn't have fit any better! I would recommend everyone to get one of these crop tops, there is many different colours and is suitable for any occasion.

My shoes are actually from New look, they are  Black Platform Brogues and just £19.99. I chose these as I thought creepers are too 'out there' for me so I thought these were a perfect alternative. Would also recommend these to you all!

Topshop Necklace

My next purchase was this necklace from Topshop, I chose this as I am running out of necklaces.

 

I think this necklace was £10, and I would have got student discount so it would have gone down to £9, which is a very good price to pay for basically two necklaces as it is reverisble. I can not find the link to think necklace on their website, but I have noticed a lot of triangle necklaces this season.

 

Another purchase was this Catseye Off Band Ring.

 

This ring was £8.50 and I love it. The colour is one of my favourites and it is also a similar smaller style of the  Yves Saint Laurent Arty Ring which is a a much more expensive price of £180, which no student can really afford.

 

I would definitely recommend getting both these pieces, you can really go wrong!

First Purchase

For ages I have been after a Bowler hat, I have never really had the confidence to wear any sort of hat until now. When I was younger I used to buy loads of different ones but always used to return them as I didn't think they suited me. But I have finally taken a stand to go and buy a Topshop one. I decided to  try their Roller Bowler Hat and I also tried on the Pork Pie Hat both were in black as I dont think I am confident enough for a coloured one yet. I decided on purchasing the Pork Pie Hat as I felt this was a better shape on me.

 

 

 

 

Now that I have brought this hat I actually love it, and havent stopped wearing it. I definitely want it in other colours, and I have recently noticed that Topshop have brought out a Straw Bowler Hat which I think is perfect for summer!

Competition

In December I entered a Topshop competition, it was to design a makeup, hair style, nails, or fashion look in the theme of galactic. As I study Makeup and Hair design I decided to enter and I never thought I would end up winning a £1000 Topshop voucher! Below is the look I entered and my voucher!

The Scrunchie

I have recently been taken back to my childhood days, with the classic scrunchie, not just a plain scrunchie but a velvet one!
I got two velvet scrunchies from Ebay, you get a black one and then you get a choice of colour for the other one, so I chose the burgundy as you will soon realise is one of my favourite colours to wear. The scrunchies were £1.79 but with postage worked out at £2.58 which is an absolute bargain! Buy your scrunchies here! Delivery time was about 4 days, which is really good considering the price.

I have seen a couple of people work these in different ways, whether it be in a pony or bun on the top of the head or a half pony tail as I call it. Sorry the photo isn't that great, but as you can see I am wearing the burgundy velvet scrunchie teamed with a matching lippy.

 

I would definitely recommend you all buy these, for a cheap price bring back a bit of your inner child.
